Our insulation former will form slot
insulation quickly and neatly, plain or cuffed, up to 8"
wide with any length. It insures uniform slot liners;
speeding winding and preventing burnout's due to improperly
fitting or torn slot lining. All set-up adjustments are made
with thumbscrews, except creasing rollers, which have
Allen-head set screws. Insulation is accurately guided
between the polyurethane roller and creasing rollers by two
guide brackets. The polyurethane roller may be damaged with
excessive creasing roller pressure. Vertical adjustments of
the roller shaft allow for different thickness of insulation
material and for varying pressures between creasing and
polyurethane rollers. Do not operate without insulating
media between creasing roller and polyurethane roller. When
the unit is not in operation, the adjustment thumb screws
should be adjusted so as not to exert any pressure on the
polyurethane rollers.
This unit is designed for the normal electric motor repair
facility that requires different daily settings.
Capacity - 8" maximum width; any length
Troughs - 6" maximum
